Lara Tafel - Experience as a Dallas Attorney and Retail Merchandiser
Based in Dallas, TX Lara Tafel practiced law with Thurman & Andres, PC where she served as an associate attorney. She also has past corporate experience with Neiman Marcus as a retail merchandising professional, where she completed the NM Corporate Executive Development Program in the mid-1990s. Lara Tafel’s EDP training prepared her for high-impact management and merchandising responsibilities, and provided her with vital exposure to product development, retail analytics, and financial planning functions.
Lara Tafel earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Texas Christian University (summa cum laude), and received National Honor Society distinction. She majored in fashion merchandising while minoring in business administration, and was active with the Phi Upsilon Omicron National Honor Society. She subsequently attended Baylor University School of Law, where she earned a juris doctor degree. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Dallas and member of the National Charity League - Heart of Dallas chapter.
